Our Story and Heart for Service
Josh and I are seeking to raise funds in support of our upcoming mission trip to Roatán, Honduras, scheduled for January 2027.
To share a bit about our journey—although we have been together for less than a year, we have built a strong, supportive, and meaningful relationship. Following the loss of my spouse, returning to church became an important part of my healing process. When Josh entered my life, he embraced that part of my journey wholeheartedly, offering encouragement and support. Over time, he has also developed a deep appreciation for our church community and attends with me whenever possible.
Our shared growth in faith has been a foundational element in strengthening our relationship. When I expressed my long-standing desire to participate in a mission trip, Josh immediately supported the idea and committed to joining me in serving alongside the team.
This mission trip to Roatán is centered on fellowship and driven by compassion and service through Bluff View Church and Compassion in Action. The outreach focuses on supporting local communities through medical assistance, children’s and prison ministry, food distribution, and home construction. The mission emphasizes hands-on service with the goal of fostering hope and meaningful, positive change.

We are seeking donations to support our upcoming mission trip to Roatán, Honduras. Each team member is working toward an individual goal of $2,500 ($5,000 total), which will help cover essential expenses such as airfare, lodging, meals, medications, and supplies needed to serve the local community. Any funds raised beyond this goal will be contributed to support other missionaries on the trip.
